Developing and showcasing these abilities is paramount in standing out professionally. Daily practice is key for success!
Assessing one's soft skills level, joining extracurriculars, active classroom engagement, and online courses are pivotal.
Gaining diverse professional experience and storytelling during interviews are vital for effective communication.
AI in recruitment, like Unilever's approach, emphasizes soft skills' significance.
For now, technology hasn't entirely replaced the human interviewer... there are still several unanswered questions, but perhaps it's just a matter of time.
However, even as machines advance, what they'll continue to evaluate in human candidates will heavily revolve around their soft skills, given that a significant portion of hard skills will continue to be transferred to AI…
